Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty
Once
upon a time in a grand kingdom, there was a joyous celebration for the birth of
a beautiful princess. The king and queen invited everyone, including fairies
who granted the baby princess special gifts. However, one wicked fairy felt
slighted and cursed the baby to prick her finger on a spindle and fall into a
deep sleep when she turned 16.
The
other kind fairies couldn't undo the curse but lessened its impact. Instead of
death, the princess would fall into a deep slumber. On her 16th birthday, the
curse came true when the princess pricked her finger on a spindle and fell
asleep. The entire kingdom fell into slumber with her.
Over
time, a thorny forest grew around the castle, hiding it from the world. Many
brave princes tried to reach the sleeping princess but failed. Finally, a
handsome prince found the castle, kissed the princess, and broke the spell. The
princess and the entire kingdom awoke from their long sleep.
The
princess and the prince fell in love, and their love brought happiness to the
kingdom. The wicked fairy's curse was no match for true love's power. They
lived happily ever after.
The
story of Sleeping Beauty reminds us that love can break even the most powerful
curses and that goodness prevails in the end.
